The 1of10 tool is built specifically to identify and highlight outlier videos. An “outlier” video is basically; a video that performs significantly better than a channel’s average view count.

For example, if a channel typically gets 1,000 views per video, a video with 50,000 views would be an outlier. Using the 1f10 scoring system, it would be a 50x outlier. In other words, that video achieved 50x the views of the average video for that channel.

Why does that matter? What does it mean?

It’s simple really. Success leaves clues.

What I Like About 1of10

I have already mentioned some of the benefits and use cases around this YouTube tool, so let me keep this brief.

1. Support: I raised a query with the team and the turnaround was quick, polite and helpful. Exactly whats needed.
2. Dataset: There are over 1 Million analysed videos in the dataset. I hope to see this continually grow and the data maintain a high quality, as the entire tool hinges on the volume and accuracy of the data it presents
3. Chrome Extension: The quick visuals of the multiplier score is a nice touch, and I have already seen other YouTube tooling companies implement this (Vidiq!). I also like the thumbnail preview so you can visualise what your work will look like in the midst of the other videos.
4. Simplicity: Open the website, search a topic, filter and analyse. Nice and easy!
5. Saves Time: Ultimately this tool helps me generate video, title and thumbnail ideas in much less time than if I browsed YouTube (and fell into the trap of watching videos instead of creating!).

Sounds like unicorn and rainbows eh! Well, not quite….

What I Don’t Like About 1of10

I will give you my final thoughts on this 1of10 review in a moment, but first I want to assure you that I try to always be honest and open around my content. That includes highlighting area I think the vendors could improve, and 1of10 is no exception.

I would caveat that this tool is in it’s infancy. The entrepreneurs who created it clearly saw a problem and lack of solution and went about creating one. I admire that and fully appreciate that fast development usually involves creating an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and then developing and maturing it as the user base grows. So i expect the 1of10 tool to be better next month than it is today (and i would recommend it today (Spoiler)).

So what don’t I like?

1. No Guarantee of Success: Despite providing useful data, the tool does not guarantee that videos will go viral or perform well, as content quality and audience engagement are also critical factors. I said before, there is no silver bullet. For me, YouTube is about harnessing the right tools to assist you learn the appropriate skills and continuously improve your content creation abilities.
2. Potential Over-reliance: There’s a risk that creators might rely too heavily on the tool for content ideas, which could stifle creativity or lead to a lack of key content skills of content where many creators replicate similar topics or styles.
3. Roadmap Visibility: I like to know what’s coming next for the software I subscribe too. I could well be looking in all the wrong places , but I don’t see this with 1of10.

As with any new tool, pricing can change quick as the subscriber base can often explode (leading to more development, hosting and support costs for the creators).

At the time of writing you can sign up to 1of10 for $49 per month, or you can take the more attractive annual cost at $349 (saving $239).

The annual subscription seems a no-brainer, but if you wanted you could just sign up for a month, fill your boots with current video ideas and then leave. Coming back again when you need more ideas, just factor in that the tool may cost more then.

I am a fan of 1of10 and the problem that it solves. As a busy YouTuber with a day job, family responsibilities and studies, I often lack time. Tools like this can help me plan my content when I have minutes to pare. More importantly, the ideas being generated are proven to be successful. I am shy, introverted a never imagined creating videos for the world to see, but now I have, I love it and YouTube will be a part of my life for a long time to come.

1-to-1 Support

It would be good to see the Primal Video team offer direct 1-to-1 support and access (maybe they do and I don’t realise it?). I am sure there are people out there that would benefit from this. However, if I put myself in Justin’s shoes – he must be some damn busy. They give so much back to the group, also have theor own channels to run, I imagine his time is extremely valuable and so would the cost. An area to consider though perhaps?

How Much Is Primal Video Accelerator?

I mentioned earlier that this training is on a month by month basis. This keeps cash injection constant, and afford them to keep the content relevant and for them to lead and be present in the community. I cannot tell you how many people create a course then vanish, leaving an empty group and content that grows stale by the day. Compelling Story, Structure & Script

Creating whiteboard animation that is engaging and captivating isn’t easy. That’s why it is essential to have a well-developed story, structure and script. Storytelling isn’t just about telling an Interesting story – it has to be the right story for your audience too! Think about who your video is for and why they would keep watching it. Are you solving a problem, providing information they are desperate for, promising to make their life easier somehow?

Make sure you identify the type of animation your video will be: informative or entertaining or both? Use images, symbols and metaphors sparingly while also maintaining storytelling dynamics. This will make your video more interesting for viewers and increase their chances of coming back and wanting to learn more.

In terms of structure, you can keep it simple and just consider that your video should have a: beginning, middle and end.

Or you can break it down further, for example, this is how I structure many of my YouTube videos:

• Open with a hook. A way of grabbing the viewer’s attention and making them want to watch the video

• The setup – where you elaborate on what the viewer will gain from watching this video, explain to the viewer exactly what you’re going to explain to them!

• Then there’s the main content that can be broken down into 3-5 smaller steps and is where you dig into the details. Think of each step as a new scene on your video

• The CTA – the call to action or outro if you like. A quick summarization of the video and instruct the viewer what to do next, for example, subscribe to your channel, go watch another video etc

Once you have an idea of structure, it’s time to plan what you are going to say, and we do this with a script. Now, this is entirely what works best for you. Personally, I write my full script, every single word. But many others will write bullet points of the key talking points and rely on their brain to adlib and fill in the gaps more naturally. There is no right way other than whatever works best for you.

Create your style & brand

There is no doubt that whiteboard animation videos are a great way to engage and connect with your target market. However, before you get started, it is important to come up with a style and brand for them. Make sure all your ideas reflect the tone of your video conceptually and visually. When producing whiteboard animation videos yourself (or hiring someone else to do so), choose whether you wish to use a visual moving hand or prefer for the elements to appear without that hand-drawn visualisation.

Other style factors to consider: background image or colours, vignetting or textures for the background, default fonts and colours and so on. Don’t over analyse this. Pick something congruent with your main brand and continue.

Is Millionaires Challenge System Legit?

Let’s address the elephant in the room, is it legit? Well, affiliate marketing is a $12 BILLION industry that allows people from all walks of life to make money online.

A legit opportunity where you can earn money by recommending products and services. Yet there are so many sharks that it often has a bad reputation. People use reviews just like this one to throw hate at programs they’ve never been part of in order to promote their own. Social media can be pretty shady at times and people all to often have agendas.

Look, some people treat affiliate programs like an MLM, they don’t even open the training and just focus on bouncing it to as many people as possible. Each to their own.

Final Thoughts In This MCS Review

Listen, MCS isn’t for everyone, Zach isn’t for everyone. You may want a fluffier coach that will warm your heart and shower affection. Don’t get me wrong, Zach is incredibly supportive, but he will do it with fewer words and without using a hugs emoji.

Some of you won’t be able to afford to buy the program, and I get that, that’s why I share lots of the things I learn on this channel where you can take snippets for free and start building that investment pot. Turning social media into money in your pocket.

Some of you will be able to afford it but will be terrified of spending the money. That was me! I was a hot sweaty mess when I signed up originally, it was actually my wife that made me. Clearly, functionality is one of the most important factors when it comes to any software. However, if you find a program that looks poor and doesn’t feel intuitive then are you going to use it?

I doubt it.

Jasper AI has the best product in this sector when it comes to how easy it is to pick up and use.

Templates

Simplicity is key. Whilst I admire the Jasper AI rivals that offer a blank sheet of paper and a reliance on your own intuition. I much prefer the wide array of templates that I can use – each one designed to fulfil a different need.

Facebook Community

In the Jasper AI Facebook Group you’ll see real passion and enthusiasm for a product. It’s fantastic to see so many different entrepreneurs and company owners collaborating to make Jasper a better place by improving their content and pursuing new objectives. Listening to their use cases and unique requirements is really inspiring to me.

Chrome Extension

Jasper now goes everywhere you do with the new chrome extension released October 2022. So rather than having to login to Jasper, you can now just call the chrome extension and start generating AI driven copy. As an example, you can now quickly create content on Notion, Google Docs, Linkedin, Gmail, Shopify, Canva, and HubSpot to name just a few.

Use Cases

Jasper AI is incredibly versatile and can be used for all kinds of content types – Blogs, YouTube, Social Media, or even sales pages for your own products. Maybe you are a freelancer and currently, writing content for others or run an agency, again it’s a useful tool to potentially improve your copy but almost definitely achieve more in the same timeframe.

AI Driven Art

This is insane, and one that any bloggers out there should take note of especially. The AI world moves at pace and Jasper always seem to be ahead of everyone. Self Improvement

Does it auto-produce faultless content 100% of the time. Absolutely not. But does it create quality copy that is in many ways better than my own? Yes.

In my case, I find that often the output from Jasper allows me to think about different angles I can use for my copywriting. Jasper AI isn’t a push-button miracle solution – more on that in a second – but it is a great assistant to work with and develop my own writing style.

Downsides of Jasper AI

Is Jasper AI perfect? No, obviously not, let’s keep it real here as it should be a well-balanced and honest Jasper AI review for you to get anything meaningful from it. When I first tried it I genuinely didn’t have much expectation at all. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was actually pretty decent which meant this review took an unexpected direction!

Instead, my biggest negatives are:

Long-form Content Expectations

Some people always have ridiculous expectations and that’s the case with Jasper. Whilst most people appreciate it’s a great way to assist your content creation workflow, some expect to press a button and spit out a 2000-word high-quality blog post that outranks everyone else in Google.

SPOILER ALERT – It won’t.

And it shouldn’t either. It should be a companion that helps you produce blog posts and sales copy, not do all of it for you.

I do feel that the longer the output, the more that the copy gets a little lost and muddled, ad this is improved with Boss Mode which seems to analyse more of the existing content for you before generating suggestions. I also expect to see continuous improvements from a company that is putting so much time and effort into its product.

Credit system

How much Jasper AI costs is something we will cover in a short moment as part of this Jasper AI review. However, I will let the cat out of the bag a little.

On a starter subscription (which is very reasonably priced) you get 20,000 words of generated content a month (Plus a bonus 10,000 words if you sign up using my link). Which as it suggests, means each time you create some copy, you consume that credit (Boss Mode starts at 50k words and around $49)

After you have used all of your credit you need to earn or purchase additional credit.

Personally, I would like to have more words to play with for the basic subscription and not need to worry about credit. However, in their defence, I know very little about running a SAAS startup and also the financial implications of using GPT-3 technology.

Jasper AI pays for each content generation themselves and then serves that to you using an incredibly simple UI, so maybe the pricing strategy is wholly justified?

Fact Checker

You need to be aware of this one. The algorithm used in the Jasper AI platform is not designed to give accurate facts. Ensure that you double-check any content that relies on factual information and research thoroughly before publishing it.

My own blog talks a lot about software and tools, if I run queries around these then the figures can be dated or incorrect. The moral of the story – don’t be lazy and check your facts.

Alternatives to Jasper AI

We have looked at the pro’s and con’s of Jasper AI, and these are echoed in some of the alternatives too.

But realistically, what are the alternative options for your content creation (that converts).

Write Your Own Content

You could just keep tapping that keyboard and stay on the path you have followed so far! Seriously though, with AI Copywriting software, you are going to still be developing your own skills, just at a quicker pace.

Outsource

There are so many sites these days where you can hire good quality freelance writers, sites like Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer, iWriter and more. Personally, I have found that you often get what you pay for. So if your budget is small then you are unlikely to find the kind of talent that will increase sales of your products significantly just using their persuasive writing skills.

AI Copywriting Software

There are a few alternatives in the AI Copywriting Software market (Rytr, CopyAI, WriteSonic…). Similar concepts, but slightly different approaches. For me, Jasper AI tops the list, but your needs may vary from mine, so the best way to find out is to test.

My Recommended Plan:

If you are new to AI copywriting and Jasper, then I would dive in on boss mode. Use it with all features unlocked and the ability to use commands and recipes. If you then decide you only need access to specific templates just restrict it at a later date and downgrade to the starter plan. I think you will have a more positive experience of using Jasper and will appreciate everything it can do.
